Infantry Brigade Combat Team 173rd AIRBORNE, Vicenza Italy

Due to the sudden and immediate nature of the recent deployment of thousands of troops, both from Fort Bragg, the Red Cross is critically in need of personal items for the soldiers. Most soldiers left for this deployment with 12 to 24 hours notice, carrying only a single pack.
The Red Cross is embedded directly with troops, and provide aid stations where soldiers can go to get items to meet their immediate needs. With the huge influx of soldiers, and donations for American troops waning in recent years, the Red Cross stations in many locations have literally nothing to offer to the soldiers.

About Us

Kosse Cares, Inc. Started in 2014

WHAT TOWN HAD THE MOST VOLUNTEERS
PER CAPITA IN WORLD WAR II
?
Not Chicago, New York, Los Angeles or any of the big cities, but a small town in central Texas named Kosse.  Back then, almost half of the population left Kosse to fight as well as help with the war effort. Many did not return.  That tradition of selfless giving continues today.   Kosse, Texas - a little town with a big heart!

Kosse also happens to be the home town of Kenda Eckols, one of the founders of Kosse Cares Inc.  Named in honor of her town’s history and its residents’ caring nature, Kenda explained that, “Kosse Cares was formed in 2014 in order to support our military in a positive way with quality care packages worth over $150 each.” Those care packages bring cheer to in-state and deployed military when they’re at their most homesick—right before Christmas.
Kosse Cares, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
